I have always been a fan of Tristan since her Love ep days. Her debut album twentythree has a simplistic production value that makes her voice and lyrics shine through which I love. However, I have yet to hear the new stuff live, but the songs of the new cd "Hello" have yet to impress me. You can tell that she calls on from a more broader range of influences 'california girl' is the only song I like that sticks out. But the majority of the album seems to hang on one theme of past relationships and not produced they way they should be. And I think in that essence the album brings her down.

I'm glad she has a new converted fan and the new album landed her on number 22 on the billboard charts. She deserves everything she gets.

Taking a kid to a baseball game is a very old and wonderful tradition but why anyone would take their kid to a baseball game nowadays is beyond me. Unless of course they want their kids learning how to cuss like a trucker.
